My daughter is an athlete just like me -- she plays competitive basketball and I play tennis. Because I was older (almost 35) when I had my daughter (who is 14 now), we are able to give her the opportunities my family couldn't afford with three children. She is only 14 but made a 17 and under team that will be going to national, college viewing tourneys this summer. And, because I have my own business and my time is flexible, I'm able to travel to watch these tournaments. It is a very exciting time, and I am very proud of her. Every time she hits her three pointers in the game, I get very excited and cheer for her. She is also smart (straight A's) and beautiful inside and out.
